Pengenalan Kursus

The Neuromuscular Treatment describes the competency in massage for Neuromuscular Therapy. He/she is the person that is competent of utilization the static pressure on specific myofascial (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body to balance the central nervous system. The person who is competent in this CU shall be able to assess client for neuromuscular therapy requirement, prepare neuromuscular therapy work area, prepare client for neuromuscular therapy, perform neuromuscular therapy, evaluate neuromuscular therapy services, provide and aftercare service. The outcome of this competency is to provide neuromuscular treatment of the lower back, neck and arms, repetitive movement injuries, headaches and reported numbness and tingling in the limbs, and post stroke rehabilitation in accordance with Ministry of Health guidelines, traditional concepts and principles, and standard operating procedures.
