Industrial product design is a process of design applied to products that are to be manufactured through techniques of mass production. Its key characteristic is that design is separated from manufacture: the creative act of determining and defining a product's form takes place in advance of the physical act of making a product, which consists purely of repeated, often automated, replication. This distinguishes industrial product design from craft-based design, where the product's creator determines the form of the product at the time of its creation.

aesthetic attitudes. Student will be approach with the role of an industrial product designer; is to create and execute design solutions for problems of form, usability, physical ergonomics, brand development and marketing.

Students will emphasis the basic knowledge of becoming the product designer and experiences various type of process and procedures such as idea generation, product modeling and rapid prototyping.

The course duration is 2 years, after completion and pass in all assessment of this course; student will be award by ‘Industrial Product Design Technology Certificate’ from JTM and Level 3 ‘Malaysia skill Certificate’ from JPK.
