The Applied Software Engineering program offers a robust and multifaceted curriculum designed to develop essential technical, problem-solving, and professional skills necessary for a successful career in software development. Students begin with Backend Web Development, where they gain proficiency in backend architecture, database design, server-side programming, and the Model-View-Controller (MVC) paradigm. Through hands-on training in REST API design, web security, and DevOps, students learn to design and deploy scalable, secure applications. On the Frontend Web Development side, students acquire expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flutter, enabling them to create dynamic, user-friendly interfaces for both web and mobile platforms.

Computer Science fundamentals such as programming, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms equip students with critical analytical and problem-solving abilities, forming the backbone of software development skills. In the Data Science module, students learn Python programming, data preparation, statistical modeling, and machine learning, enabling them to derive insights from data and create predictive models. The Mobile Development segment provides hands-on experience with Android development, covering UI/UX design, mobile networking, concurrency, background processing, and testing, thus preparing students to develop efficient and interactive mobile applications.
