Pengenalan Kursus
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
This course is intended to provide knowledge and skills in refrigerant handling covering all related activities through theoretical and practical training sessions to achieve higher competencies in handling the refrigerant for a cleaner and safer environment. Participants who successfully complete the course will be accredited with CSTP of RACs certified by the Department of Environment (DOE). At the end of the course, participants will be able to;
1. Perform refrigerant vacuum process
2. Perform refrigerant recovery process
3. Perform refrigerant charging process
COURSE CONTENT:
1. Environmental and human health impact of refrigeration and air conditioning
2. Alternatives to HCFC and Their characteristics
3. Refrigeration cycle
4. Refrigerant recovery, recycling, reclamation & cylinders
5. Proper handling and servicing HCFC and HFC air conditioners
6. Proper handling and servicing hydrocarbon air conditioners
7. Good practices and safety precaution
8. Installation procedure of air conditioner split unit
9. Tools and equipment required
10. Refrigerant contamination and refrigerant identifier
11. Maintenance of equipment
12. Maximizing benefits of climate action through servicing sector
