Pengenalan Kursus

This course introduces theory and application of principles required to solve applied statics problems. Topics included in this course are moment of force, resultant of forces, couple systems, and transmissibility of forces. The use of free-body diagrams and modeling and analysis of static equilibrium problems focusing on real world engineering applications and problem solving are emphasized.

Moreover, the relation between externally applied loads and induced internal forces within structural members and analysis of statically determinate structures, such as trusses and beams, are taught. Axial, shear, and bending-moment diagrams and their relationship are also covered
